A ball joint, especially of the vehicle suspension components according to the invention, consists of a plastic bushing and a metal ball pin, mounted in the joint seat of the metal body of the vehicle suspension component. A resilient pressure ring, compressed by a plug closing the joint seat, adheres to the bottom of the socket through a metal washer.
It is preferred that the shaped part of the bushing is provided with incisions parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bush, enabling the bushing to move in the seat of the body as a result of the expansion of the resilient pressure ring adjacent to the metal washer seated on the ribbing of the bottom of the bush.
An advantage of the invention is that the clearance between the pin and the bushing arising during intensive use of the ball joint is compensated by the expansion of the compressed pressure ring.
